Standing Up to Cancer
As you may now, today is World Cancer Day. It’s a day when millions come together to take a stand against a disease that has played a part in so many of our lives, whether it’s a friend, a family member or a family member of a friend. As someone directly affected with the pain of watching a loved one endure cancer and all that comes with it, we have a responsibility to do whatever we can to shed light and pay attention to those trying to rid it from the world. Today I am joining the fight against cancer by taking part in Stand Up To Cancer’s digital campaign to create a global gallery of people showing the world who they are standing for. Please join us in standing for our loved ones — upload your photos to SU2C’s Facebook page or post on Twitter or Instagram using the hashtags #IStandUpFor #WorldCancerDay and the handle @SU2C.
