Whitney Port Talks Matte Lips

Matte lip color popped up all over the Spring 2013 runways, and it has fast-become one of my favorite makeup trends. A matte lip in any shade complements minimalist makeup, adding just enough color to brighten up a more natural look. Whether prepping for day or night, a bright lip is such an easy way to revamp your look. Click through the gallery to check out a few of my favorite matte lip looks!

Whitney Eve Rocks Ankle Booties

A spring trend I’m digging right now is ankle booties. I rocked a pair of Olivia booties by Madison Harding all over the NYC streets yesterday. They’re a comfy alternative to heels and add a bit of edge to an outfit. They also pair well with everything from printed leggings to denim shorts. What do you guys think? I’m tempted to invest in another pair! xoxo, Whit

Whitney Port Prints

The spring/summer 2013 runways were full of beautiful patterns for spring/summer 2013 fashion. A couple of my favorite prints were the soft florals and deconstructed prints. I think adding them to an outfit can really make it pop. Plus I love the prints on flowy skirts and shear button-ups. What are your favorite ways to wear your prints?

Cut It Out!

The transition from winter to spring attire is as simple as tweaking those winter sweaters and long-sleeve shirts with a few scissor snips.

Shirts with geometric cutouts at the arms, hips or shoulder blades are flirty and fun for the transition to spring fashion. Not to mention it’s pretty simple to add the holes yourself to an old sweater or long-sleeved shirt. Cutout dresses are also a fun option for nights out. I like that it lets you show a bit of skin without being too over-the-top.
