The runways of spring 2013 brought an overall feeling of a return of femininity. It was expressed in the exposure of midriff, skin peeking through lace and legs for miles in 60s-esque shift dresses. Outfits on the runway were minimally accessorized, letting the outline and shape of a dress or pantsuit speak for itself. Flashes of fun were evident in fringed edges, snakeskin patchwork and stripes and dots.
