Hi loves,
Here are some pictures from our first night in Sydney.  We had the most amazing driver while we were there, his name was Terry and he was the ultimate tour guide.  Before we went for dinner at Rockpool Bar and Grill, Terry took us for a little historical tour by the Harbour Bridge.  It was the most beautiful time of day, just after sunset and we saw the whole city lit up.  I have been to Sydney once before, but this trip was very different.  I think because I am older now I could appreciate the architecture and beauty of all these fascinating sites. The Opera House at night was beyond beautiful. The green lights reflecting on the water was amazing. Paige and I stood there for at least five minutes taking pictures of everything around us. Thanks to Terry we were able to get a few with us in the background.

One of the most interesting things we learned from Terry was about the Sydney Harbour Bridge.  If you look in one of these pictures you can see the closeup I took of the steel nut on the base of the bridge. Apparently, there are four of these nuts in the construction of the bridge, two on each end. These four nuts support the ENTIRE bridge. So crazy to think about!
