It’s All About Neutral Blazers

Hi my dears,
Here’s a clip from Grazia Magazine talking about neutral blazers.  I love the color nude for this Spring. Although it’s neutral, it adds a feminine touch and can transform any outfit to being more than just simple.
What’s your favorite color for the Spring?

Remembering Alexander
McQueen…

Dear friends,
I bought this Alexander McQueen dress a couple months ago and had been waiting for the right occassion to wear it. McQueen was such an enormous fashion icon both through his design esthetic on the runway and in the way he presented himself off of it. As a designer (though very new), I look up to such legends and try to emulate the impact they have on the world. McQueen has one of the most unique and exquisitely creative minds of our generation. Because I did not personally know him I cannot share memories but can remember his legacy by wearing his works of art.

No matter what you do, be passionate about it! Now have a great friday!!!

Target Rocks Red Market Fashion Show

Hey guys,
The reason I went to Australia was to act as the ambassador for the Target Rocks Red Market fashion show on the last day of the 2010 L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival. Being a part of this event was so much fun.  The people I worked with from Target and Style Counsel were so welcoming and helpful.  They made Paige’s and my stay in Australia be the best it could possibly be.  Target is the kind of store that I could go into for hours and come out with everything I could ever need.  I was lucky enough to go into one of the Target stores and pick out some things to wear for the fashion show.  I chose this adorable striped Tshirt with pouffy sleeves and paired it with my own leopard skirt. I love the idea of pairing patterns as well as something expensive with something not as expensive.

The fashion show was one of the most fun shows I have been to.  Even in the scorching heat everyone was able to think past their sweat and focus on the fun music, clothes, and dance moves.

Check out the pics in the gallery, some are from the event and some are pictures that Paige and I took. Enjoy!
