Being Escorted by the Quween

I always know what I am getting myself into when I’m on Bedford Drive in Beverly Hills and I can’t help but laugh when the quween on the scene steps in to fend off the paparazzi. I know she means well but I’m pretty sure she has made this “protection” thing her full time job. My sister and I definitely got a kick out of it :) Just thought this was a cute pic and wanted to share it.

My Fondest Summer Memories :)

Since I was born, I have been going to lake of the Ozarks in Missouri every Summer.  If anyone were to ask me where my favorite place in the world is, I would undoubtedly say the Ozarks.

My siblings and I have met lifelong friends there and it is just the most relaxing, refreshing and rejuvenating place for the mind, body and soul.  Every day we take the boat out, lounge around, jet ski, tube — the list goes on and on.  We cook and eat lots of frozen custard!! Since I never went to summer camp, it is my version of just that.

My fondest childhood memories come from summers in the Ozarks with my favorite people in the world!!!!

I included a few pics of me from Summers past :)

What’s your favorite Summer tradition or vacation???

Happy Early Father’s Day!!!

Hi everyone!  Father’s Day is coming up so I wanted to share some family photos with you.  I come from a family of five and my parents have always made us kids their number one priority so in honor of father’s day I wanted to pay a special tribute to my dad.

I’m so fortunate to have a father who wanted to be involved in every facet of his children’s lives.  He coached little league, helped us with our homework and made family dinners mandatory. Family time played a huge role in my upbringing and even now I take full advantage of the time I get to spend with them.

These past few years have been crazy and my dad has done nothing but support me every step of the way!  I can’t imagine going through this huge life transformation without him by my side and I’m eternally grateful for everything he has given me. I’m a daddy’s girl to say the least…always have been and always will be!

I of course can’t recognize Father’s Day without giving a special shout out to my Boppa (that’s what I call my grandfather)! He truly is amazing and I’m so thankful to have him in my life.

What are you guys doing for your dads and grandfathers this Father’s Day???

Me and Paigey = Top Chefs :)

It was sooo nice being in LA and finally having some down time from filming — I really got to spend a lot of time with my family which means SO much to me!  The other night, Paige and I decided we wanted to do something nice for our family so we made them this whole elaborate dinner!  We made Chicken Paillard on top of arugula and Parmesan salad with roasted veggies and garlic bread.  It was amazing if I do say so myself!

Anyway, I wanted to share these pics I took, as well as Rachael Ray’s recipe for Chicken Paillard so you all can make it for your families and friends ;)
