Trying New Places

Hi lovies,

We decided to try a new restaurant at the lake this time and it turned out to be one of our faves! It is called The Duck and it has the greatest scenery ever! You think you are on a movie set. You walk down these great wood steps in a sorta rustic area and then once you step into the restaurant all you see is the lake! The sun was setting so it was the perfect time of day. I got a little sentimental about life and had a bit of cry sesh, but besides that dinner was greaaaat haha.
Check out the pics of me and the fam. Excuse the funny faces, Paige was trying to cheer me up and it definitely worked!

Party Cove Week 2

Hey guys,

Here are some more pics from the party cove. This time we circled the cove a few times so we could check out all the craziness! Beads were flying, girls were topless, and crazy amounts of people were swimming and dancing! It really was a party in a cove haha!

Amazing Charity Event in Missouri

Hi dears,
A few days ago I was eating at a restaurant on the lake and was truly touched. My dad asked our waitress what was going on that night in town. She told us that it was karaoke night at the restaurant but that she and a bunch of the other waiters, waitresses, and bartenders were supporting a fellow employee at a charity event he was throwing. In Preparation for Talk Like a Pirate
Day…

Hey dearies,
Aaaaaaarrrrrr! Captain Ron’s was a full on pirate experience. Well not really, but sorta.  The inside was very ship wrecky! The food was delicious and the service was even better.  Before we left I had to make sure to take a pic with Captain Ron, the pirate himself. I actually have no idea if this character was Captain Ron or not but it is more fun to say so! I know Talk Like a Pirate Day isn’t for another month or so, but we thought it would be fun to get into character and I forced everyone to talk like a pirate! We added aaaarrrr to the end of every word/sentence! Now I’ll be ready for real Talk Like A Pirate Day in September!
