I came across this great editorial Annie Leibovitz shot for the February issue of Vogue. The shoot is in honor of Hurricane Sandy emergency response teams, and celebrates the city and its work by joining fashion and heroism in these images. Vogue teamed up with the CFDA to raise $1.7 million for relief funds through their Fashion for Sandy Relief auction, and the editorial shows continued support. Some people see the images as crossing the line, and some see it as an editorial that captures the beauty and triumph of the city. Take a look through the gallery and share your thoughts on it in the comments section— I’d love to know your stance on this. xoxo, Whit

After the devastation the east coast saw last week, it’s time for us all to pitch in where we can. They’re in need of basic supplies like cleansing wipes, hand sanitizer, flashlights, feminine products and underwear, which are all on the Hurricane Sandy Relief Amazon Wishlist. You can also head over to the American Red Cross page and donate. Every little bit helps!
