Fall Dinner Party Menu
Celebrating Two Very Special Birthdays
Last night we had a little party at my house for my sister Jade’s 23rd birthday and for my boyfriend’s 31st. The theme of the table was blue rustic and we put together a menu of challah, brisket, roasted potatoes, corn sauté and green beans. To top it all off, we had a funfetti cake for my sister and a frozen key lime pie for my boyfriend. It was so nice to have a lovely, relaxing night full of family, friends and great food. It was just what we needed to send us off back to NYC for another east coast week of hard work! xoxo, Whit
All Dressed Up and Ready to Go
For our final looks, Jo and I put together some dressier outfits fit for a night out at a charity dinner. For this type of occasion, you’ll definitely want to wear something a little more demure and sophisticated — I don’t usually wear black, but it’s definitely always a safe bet for something like this. Plus you can funk it up with some fun accessories, which I did with a pair of sparkly shoes. Jo wore a conservative, yet girly and flirty dress with cute strappy sandals. When you’re going to a charity dinner, make sure you try sitting in your dress before you go, because chances are you’ll be sitting for a while so you’ll want to be comfortable.

The Perfect Lunch Meeting Looks
Hi tootsies,
As you may have seen in a video I recently posted, my best friend Jo and I had a little fun in my closet putting together outfits for a number of different occasions. Last week we highlighted how to put together the perfect coffee date outfit — today we’re moving on to lunch looks. When dressing for a business lunch, I think it’s important to be appropriate without being too conservative and also show off your personal style. For my lunch meeting look, I wore a peplum top from my collection, cute skinny jeans to keep it casual, snakeskin heels and a bold statement necklace to funk up the look a bit. Jo paired a cute dress with a fun pair of booties. How would you describe your go-to lunch meeting look? xoxo, Whit (more…)
