Hi tootsies,
For today’s Flashback Friday, I thought it would be fun to take a trip down memory lane to my days as a little leaguer. Sports played a huge role in my childhood — either I was playing in a game or I was cheering on one of my four siblings, and my dad was always the coach. In true Port fashion, baseball was a family affair for us, and most of our time as kids was spent on a baseball field.

When I wasn’t playing baseball, I was across the street at the Westwood Rec Center shooting hoops. My height really worked to my advantage and I even made the all-star team a few times.
