I found a post called “35 Signs You Grew Up in Los Angeles in the ’90s” on BuzzFeed this week and I have to say it was pretty spot on. Of the 35 signs listed, I identified with 28 of them. Thrifty Ice Cream, the La Brea tar pits, school earthquake drills and laser tag at Ultrazone are just a few of the things I remember all too well from my childhood. Click through the gallery to see some of the other signs that applied to my LA upbringing and then head over to BuzzFeed to check out the rest. xoxo, Whit
