Christmas Pics :)

Hey dearies!
I hope those who celebrate had a wonderful Christmas filled with lots of love! Although my family is Jewish we use the holiday as a time to get everyone together.  This year we started a new tradition and had Fajita Fiesta night at my house.  It was so nice to have my whole family and my brother in law’s family together! A few of my friends came for dinner and dessert. What did you all do for Christmas?

Happy Hanukkah

Happy Hanukkah my fellow Jews!!! Hannukah is one of my favorite holidays, not because of the presents or the latkahs or the brisket or the dreidel spinning or the gelt but because it symbolizes how important family truly is. I remember when I was younger reporting back and forth with all of my friends what we got each night, I was living in a dream world.  But now all I can really ask for is to simply be with my family. I know I may sound like a corn-dog but take this time to reach out to those who mean the most to you. I think now more than ever hand-writing a card, framing a picture or simply verbalizing the worth of your loved ones are the best gifts one can get.

Thank you all (and this ain’t just for the Jews) for visiting my site and reading what I have to say! I am so incredibly thankful for all of you! Each and every one of you has allowed me to keep my head up and stay true to myself through all this craziness. So lets light up the menorah and say a prayer!

My Fondest Summer Memories :)

Since I was born, I have been going to lake of the Ozarks in Missouri every Summer.  If anyone were to ask me where my favorite place in the world is, I would undoubtedly say the Ozarks.

My siblings and I have met lifelong friends there and it is just the most relaxing, refreshing and rejuvenating place for the mind, body and soul.  Every day we take the boat out, lounge around, jet ski, tube — the list goes on and on.  We cook and eat lots of frozen custard!! Since I never went to summer camp, it is my version of just that.

My fondest childhood memories come from summers in the Ozarks with my favorite people in the world!!!!

I included a few pics of me from Summers past :)

What’s your favorite Summer tradition or vacation???
