One of my favorite places to get a blowout in LA recently began selling their own line of hair products. Drybar sells their signature-yellow styling tools and hair care essentials with cocktail-inspired names at Sephora, making their blowouts possible to achieve at home without a hair appointment. I love trying to recreate styles I get in the salon chair, so I’m definitely giving these tools a try.

I just wanted to tell you all about an amazing new beauty discovery that Paige and I tried out yesterday. It’s a makeup bar called Blushington and it is only $35 for full makeup. They use Stila makeup and in 30 minutes or less they make you look so glamorous! One of the best parts is that it is next to drybar in West Hollywood so it is such a great brother-sister relationship. Get your hair and makeup done at a reasonable price and you are set for the night.

Added a Little Sparkle to My Hair!

Yesterday my best friend Jo and I went to the new Drybar in West Hollywood to get our hair blown out. While we were there, we discovered that they now offer a service that puts tinsel in your hair. Basically just a way to add some sparkle to your hair. We both couldn’t resist. Now we have metallic strands in our hair, or I guess you could call it hair bling haha. It lasts 2-6 weeks and you can shampoo it, style it, use a flat iron or curling iron, basically just your normal routine, and then it will fall out naturally. (more…)
