Hi tootsies,
A new promo was just released for What to Expect When You’re Expecting and it’s a commercial for Celebrity Dance Factor, the Dancing with the Stars spoof dance show that I took part in. I am SOOOOO nervous and excited to see what a crazy dancing person I look like! We only had a couple weeks to learn our dances and I TOTALLY understand the pressure and commitment the dancers on Dancing with the Stars deal with! It’s insane! After dancing for only two weeks my body was already starting to fall apart. I hadn’t taken a real dance class in years and I had to do a disco! OMG! So nuts. Hi friends,
Over the weekend my entire family and all of our closest friends got together to celebrate Ashley’s 30th birthday! Since Ashley has her own event planning business, this clearly was going to be no small affair. The party was somewhat of an adult version of a Bat Mitzvah, with Ashley’s name hanging on the wall in glitter, an ice cream sundae station, the limbo, glow sticks, glittery tattoos, and in true Port fashion, it was an all night dance party. So much fun.

Soooooo my dad and I got a little too ahead of ourselves and became dancing machines at the wedding. We were busting out moves and swinging, and being what we thought were really good dancers. When all of a sudden things went down hill, fast. My dad’s spin was a bit too aggressive, we lost touch, I ended up on the floor and he hit his head on the stage. Paige happened to capture it all in photos. I am still hurting from it!

I hope you all had a fun weekend! On Friday night I ventured over the hill to Calabasas with my best friend, Jo, and her family for her cousin’s 21st birthday! It was my favorite kind of party, a dance party!!!!!!! Jo, Nick, and I boogied on the dance floor all night.
