Join OneRepublic in Helping Newtown Victims

OneRepublic Whitney Port Newtown Community Fund
Friday’s traumatic events are still heavy in our hearts, and now is the time to help. OneRepublic started a fund that will help benefit the victims and families affected by the shooting. They’ve already raised over $55,000 to help assuage any concern over money that these families might have. Head on over to their page and contribute, even if that means just sharing their video! Hey guys,
This week in LA, Dress for Success is hosting a popup shop. Dress for Success works to help disadvantaged women get jobs and become independent— starting with what they wear. By providing professional attire, women can focus on feeling confident and going after the job they want.

Tomorrow, December 5, is the VIP reception from 5-9 p.m., and on December 6 and 7, the popup store is open to the public from 10 a.m.- 8 p.m. If you go, you might even spot some Whitney Eve pieces! All proceeds benefit Dress for Success worldwide. xoxo, Whit

More Than Me

Whitney-Port-Supports-More-Thank-Me-Organization

Hey guys,
One of the greatest things about the season is the spirit of giving. Today, I wanted to share a charity with you that I really believe in. More Than Me is an organization that helps young girls in Westpoint, Liberia, get a proper education and keep them out of sexual exploitation. So far, they’ve been able to help 108 girls and are currently working on opening an all-girls academy.

More Than Me has been chosen as one of 25 organizations to compete in NBC’s Chase American Giving Awards for $1 million. With the winnings, More Than Me would be able to serve over 1,000 girls and open a boarding school.

To help More Than Me reach their goal, and to help young girls in Liberia, head to More Than Me’s Facebook page and click ‘Like’ or head to More Than Me‘s homepage. That’s all it takes to help the cause! xoxo, Whit

The Movember movement and charity is close to my heart, as it raises money for prostate cancer and men’s health research. It’s awesome how they get the community involved and how empowered men become by growing their mustaches! There are only a few days left in November, so guys, keep growing.

We went to visit the Movember and Sons headquarters and saw how amazing their team is and how great their goal is. Take a look at our pics from the day!
