The Pressure to Look Good…

Hi my loves,

Working in Hollywood there’s a constant pressure to look your best, but I’ve realized it’s not just in Hollywood, that’s the case for all women. Societal norms leave us with the impression that skinny is the equivalent of beauty, makeup is a must, and it’s crucial to dress to impress. I recently sat down with People Magazine and a group of women who spend their lives under a magnifying glass, also known as the media, and had a vent session about the trials and tribulations that come with the territory of being a woman in Hollywood. Click through the gallery to read the entire feature!
On that note, I asked my best friend Andrea if she would be willing to do a guest blog on the subject and she was more than happy to oblige! Friends — please welcome Andrea as she dishes on a recent experiment she did! I was very inspired by what she wrote :) In the gallery you’ll see two pictures of Andrea with makeup and two without. Louis Vuitton Marks the 40th Anniversary
of the First Lunar Landing :)

Last night I went to the Louis Vuitton event at the Museum of Natural History in NYC. The party was in honor of the 40th anniversary of the first lunar landing!

It was soooo much fun!!! The Museum of Natural History was so gorgeous and right off Central Park West. I went with me best friend Andrea. You can see a pic in the gallery of us leaving the event in a cab.

I was so amazed by how unique and extravagant fashion is in this city!!! It’s so inspiring.

xoxo,
Whit

P.S. What do you guys think of my hair?  I usually wear it down but decided to go with something different last night :)

Meet Some Of My Friends!!!

I’m so fortunate to have such a supportive group of friends in my life.  I’ve been going through such a huge transition, and I don’t know how I would have done it without them! I miss them so much because I don’t get to see them that much since I moved to New York, but whenever we see each other, it’s like I never left!

The first pic is of me and Andrea, who I’ve been best friends with since the third grade — the second is me, Brittany, and Sydney in the Hamptons — the third is me and Syd — and the fourth is Syd and I at Havana Cafe in Soho.

Love you girls!!!!
