My mother has always told me that you never get over your first love fully, thus there are always inevitable lingering feelings. However, I reflect on my past relationships as learning experiences rather then regrets. You have to kiss a lot of frogs to find your prince!!
Just remember, still having some feelings for a past love is normal and (usually) innocent. Always know that each and every one of us deserves the utmost best and don’t allow those lingering feelings to undermine the potential for a new relationship.
