There is nothing better to me than a home cooked meal! For this reason alone I was so excited to be home for my birthday. The menu I created was an arugula with shaved parmesan salad, grilled shrimp, Father Leo’s flank steak (from Bobby Flay’s, Throwdown), roasted brussels sprouts, baked veggies, and roasted potatoes. This was just for dinner! Then for dessert everyone could chose between mini cupcakes, macaroons, my mom’s famous chocolate cake, and strawberry shortcake (my personal favorite!!!). Everything was soooo delicious and the company was even better!!!
