Photos from the 2010 CFDA Awards

Hi dearies,
Last night I attended the CFDA Awards at NYC’s Alice Tully Hall. It was a beautiful event and everybody in attendance looked absolutely stunning.
I wore a custom-made dress by David Meister, Giuseppe Zanotti shoes, a Jimmy Choo clutch, Bulgari jewelry and one ring by Kimberly McDonald.

Five-Step Process to Movie Awards Hair

Hi loves,
Yesterday Amy Nadine, my makeup artist for the MTV Movie Awards, did a write-up on how to get my look. Now Eric Gabriel, the man responsible for my hair, was nice enough to provide a step-by-step guide on how to get my my Movie Awards ‘do!

Step 1: Blow the hair out with a setting spray and a round brush
Step 2: Set the hair with a 1 1/2 inch iron in big sections
Step 3: Back comb each section and then brush through
Step 4: Back comb the crown as big as you want
Step 5: Add a small amount of palmade

Simple five-step process! Let me know if any of you try this out at home.

Click though the gallery to see a few red carpet pics from the evening.

Get My MTV Movie Awards Look

Hey guys!
One of my favorite and go-to makeup artists, Amy Nadine, did my makeup for the MTV Movie Awards. She took the time to do a little write up of what she used and how to get this look. Here it is…

“Because Whitney’s Yigal Azrouel dress was such a statement dress, I wanted to create a beautifully soft make-up look that wouldn’t compete. For a flawless complexion I used Giorgio Armani Face Fabric Radiance in #1 with a foundation brush then followed with a sweep of Armani’s Loose Powder in #0. I used the lighter shade of CoverGirl Smoky Shadow Blast all over her lid, then contoured her crease with the darker shade. I drew a thick and heavy line on her upper eyelid with CoverGirl LiquiLine for a 60′s Madmen-inspired eye and paired it with extra coats of CoverGirl Lash Blast Fusion. I used CoverGirl Simply Ageless in Plush Peach on the apples of her cheeks then finished the look with OCC Lip Tar in Hush.”

Thank you CoverGirl for all the amazing makeup. You have turned me on to some amazing new products!

xoxo,
Whit
