Baked Goods Are Going Ombre
Ombre hair was all the rage, and now the fad is spreading to baked goods! I came across the Ombre cake yesterday when I was perusing my Facebook newsfeed and after doing a little research, I discovered that it’s from a bakery called Frosted in Madison, WI. I’m definitely making Paige bring me one when she goes back to Wisconsin this summer. How delicious does it look???? And so pretty!
Getting Back Into Cooking!
I had a home cooked meal for the first time in MONTHS last night and it was so delicious I had to share with all of you. We made skirt steak, grilled shrimp, arugula salad, smashed fingerling potatoes and roasted brussel sprouts, followed by chocolate covered raisins, strawberries, Cheez-Its and pretzels. It was a feast! It’s so nice to be able to cook again now that I’m home :)
