Last night I attended the Galeria Melissa Flagship Store Opening in Soho. For those of you who don’t know, Melissa is the inventor of Jellies, and I don’t know about you guys, but Jellies were a big part of my childhood (I even did a post about them for Flashback Friday). Jellies have been on the market for 32 years now, yet they always manage to keep the design fresh and aligned with current trends.
The store in Soho is Melissa’s first flagship store outside of Brazil and it looked beautiful last night — it was stark white which really allowed the brightly colored shoes to stand out. The highlight of my night was seeing Marc Jacobs there. I was definitely a little starstruck so I was too nervous to say anything…
