Hi guys. Thank you so much to everyone who entered to win the $1000 JCPenney back to school shopping spree with me!!! I loved reading all of your comments and I wish all of you could have won.
It was very difficult but I narrowed it down to 14 finalists who each submitted a video. They were all amazing and after a lot of thought, I finally chose a winner.
Congratulations to Mary Ann from Illinois!!!!! I was so moved by Mary Ann's video. She is really an inspiration who at the age of 16 started an outreach program in the Philippines called Chinelas that distributed over 300 pairs of slippers to school children that walk to school barefoot! Chinelas means slippers in Spanish and through Chinelas, Mary Ann also gave out toiletries at a shelter for street children and victims of child trafficking. She is truly an inspiration!!!
Not only is Mary Ann a philanthropist, but she's a little fashionista as well! She has a passion for fashion and it showed in her video. Thank you for entering Mary Ann! Keep doing what you're doing...every little thing helps :)

OMG! Whitney, it was so nice of you to get together with JCPenny and give someone a chance to learn something about fashion from you, the ultimate fashionista. It's upsetting to me that I was not chosen as the winner, but things happen for a reason and I feel that Mary Ann must have deserved it and congrats to her!

this is like so awesome. OMG! <3<3<3 jcpteen. mary anne is so awesome. though i believe barefoot stylee is going to be making a huge comeback soon in the US (it's already huge in paris), it's cool that these kiddos have flip flops. and, i am so super excited for her to buy tons of jcpteen stuff. keep rocking it out mary anne.
