I've always been a risk-taker since I was a young girl. I was the one wearing a red dress with boots while playing handball with the boys. Even when I lived in California, I strayed from the norm of casual jeans and t-shirts. Since moving to New York, I have been inspired by the fashion all around me. It has allowed me to reveal more of my personality and identity through my clothes without feeling so 'out of place' in casual California. While fashion is only a hobby (I'm currently a teacher), I am forever inspired by the city and the way clothing can be translated as a form of art. Your show and your style is also very inspiring to me. Your sense of style in what you wear on the show as well as your designs would be a dream come true if I can spend a day with you picking your brain and learning from a true fashion icon :)

Im a very unlucky and rather clumsy girl, first days of school usually result in something brilliantly embarassing and/or something happening to my uniform. Now that I'm off to college I'm really excited to not wear a uniform anymore and be able to incorporate my style into everyday life, so maybe since now my dreadful uniform is gone i'll have an amazing first day of class. Of course it's always difficult showing my style down here in Texas due to the fact that people aren't used to seeing a girl wearing anything other than jeans and t-shirts. I absolutely love taking risks with fashion weather its stealing vintage missoni inspired pieces from my mum and pairing them with her fendi boots from the 80's or mixing forever 21 tops with Custo Barcelona skirts in my closet. My guilty pleasure is watching the City just to see what outfit you'll think of next and I love how you manage to mix high and low, topshop with designer and you always have amazing shoes. It would be truly amazing to win and be able to spend to spend a day with you and get more insight into the fashion business and get a peek at your wonderful designs. Nothing beats a day of shopping and learning from a great fashion icon I look up to.

Hey, I actually don't go to a public school. I go to a school with uniforms. But once a week, we're allowed to dress down and that's usually our one chance every week to show our style. I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm able to express myself with little things added to my uniform - but every Wednesday, I'm stuck in front of my closet wondering how I can dress to impress.

Just wanted to submit again becuz i saw the link on ur twitter! Hi I'm Derek it would be amazing if i got the chance to go on a shopping spree especailly if its for back to school! I love dressing up and fashion. When i go back to school in september im going to be a SENIOR. That means saving all the money i can just for college! College is not cheap im pretty sure you know that. I also want to go to a out of school state (Dream College UCLA)that means more money. Yes i am currently working but its olny a summer job and probablly most of that money is either going to the bank or going to my SENIOR class trip(going to Europe). My parent decided that i should be an adult and raise all the money I need for this trip so there not going to pay a cent($720 plane ticket and more money for food and clothes). So pretty much everything I worked for this summer I"m barely gonna get to use it becuz its either going to the bank for my college or my trip.

So what am I going to wear on the first day of school? I"m probably gonna havve to wear the same stuff that I wore last year and thats a fashion NO-NO. Especailly when everyone in schools knows that I know how to dress. I dont want to dissapoint anyone when I go back to school. And look a HOT MESS by wearing the same stuff as I did the year before. Anyways this fall is going to be my first year of college and for like the past year I have been wearing the same clothes. I have clothes that go to the extremes. I love to shop and especially express my mood, attitude and personality through my style. When I'm just kicking it back with my friends in my small town in New Hampshire I like to don down-to-earth styles from Decree! It's a cute clothing line and doesn't make me want to cry when I have to bust out my debit card. I like shopping at department stores because they have massive amount of styles that cater to each persons individuality. I can stay in the same store find outfits for Easter sunday or my best friend's birthday party all on the same rack if I want.

I don't pretend that I have killer style, but I express myself the way I like it and it makes me happy! To be perfectly honest, I have no sobby story to tell you. I can't say I was the nerdy outcast girl in high school. I can't tell you my parents had vintage clothes I wore all the time. And I can't say I know every single designer in the world.
What I can say is that Seventeen magazine is my bible. I read my first issue in 7th grade. After that, I started reading Elle, Harper's Bazaar, and Vogue. I guess thats kinda crazy, because before then I have never heard or read any of those magazines.
It wasn't until my sophomore year that I really got into fashion. Project Runway is, and will always be, one of my favorite shows (though I can't sew to save my life).
Ok I don't want this comment to be a novel, so my last notes are that my style is very, well, everywhere. I like florals, prints, skinny jeans, ripped jeans, I have 3 drawers full of tshirts, gladiator sandals, vests, knee high socks, checkered belts, Vans, Converse, pumps, cardigans, and now I have to add wintery clothes since I'm going to college in Chicago. I wouldn't even know what to call my style. I figured this meeting with you would let me put a name to my style, with still having my personality into it.
Plus, I always try to find a way to re-create your famous floral dress, with blue & white striped cardigan, with purple socks and high heels. One of my favorite creations :)

Ok, so being that I'm a college girl, I love shopping! I use to love going out with my girl friends to window shop, and then coming home with bags of the cutest dresses, shoes, and accessories. However, being that I'm a college girl, my "let's go shopping with the girls" money has become "the rent and bills are due" money. Since this is my first summer as a college student on my own, this is the first summer I haven't been able to go out, have fun, and SHOP! Especially since I live in the city and everything is crazy expensive! But I've been hitting the gym everyday this summer, and trying to save up as much as possible so that I can give myself a mini back to school make-over; hair, make-up, clothes and all! When I first saw shopping spree for JCPenny I was a little hesitant because I never shop there, but teamed with Whitney I feel like some amazing outfits could come out of it. My name is Pat I live in Baltimore City Maryland, I have never been to a JCP before, I am not very wealthy, actually I am dirt poor, I have worn the same set of clothes for 4 years now, we cant afford much food so I never end up growing so it ends up working out. Now, my story. I am a home schooled student who loves the world of fashion. And you’re probably wondering why would a home schooled student, such as myself, want to win a back to school makeover, right? Well, I am really nervous to start my Junior High school year as a home schooled student. Why? This year I will be taking some of my classes at Pasadena City College as part of my home schooling curriculum. I will actually have to buy clothes for school which is somewhat new for me. I would love to win this shopping spree because I know what style is, but on a budget. Everything I buy may seem like its worth alot but I find things that are not pricey. I know for some jc penny may be one of the lower end places to shop..but they have great pieces of clothing that can make a steller outfit. Actually their not quite cheap...people just assume that because its located at your local mall. They do keep in style with whats in, just at a lower price. To tell you the truth I dont shop their quite often..but the things I have brought from there have lasted a long time. and I can find really great fitted jeans there.
Starting a new year at uni..im starting a fresh year by moving into a new place and eating more healthy. My daghter Natalie is a cheerlearder so fashion is on thing the cheer leaders love. She loves to match her own clothes and has been picking her own outfits since she was 5 or 6. She loves clothes and can see her being a clothing designer in the future.

She is also starting a new school. SO how fun would that be, starting a new school with a closet full of clothing.

i want to say, i loved you since that first appearance you made in the hills where you and lauren were getting interviewed for teen vogue :). i love your style its so unique and out there. I love fashion. I mix and match my clothes, some tops i even use as a skirt, and I get a lot of people saying, "i love your dress/skirt" and i reply with a "thanks its a top". This is a great idea for a contest! Honestly I've always had issues with dressing, I'm a college student turning 24, and majority of my closet is few pairs of jeans (can never find the right ones) and some t-shirts and tank tops. I've tried to push the "style" on me. but can never put it together. My biggest problem is actually taking the outfits and putting them together. I think its time to start dressing my age, and I think you can help me with that. I completely support myself, and don't have the biggest income. Paying for my apt and school can be taxing.

I'm a Reading Specialist in Malibu and I would LOVE to go on a Back to School Shopping Spree with you! Who says Back to School shopping is just for the students?! Teachers want to ring in the new school year with some new stylish duds, too! I am a part-time teacher because I stay-at-home with my two children ages three and almost two. I am on a limited budget since only my husband works full-time and we live in SoCal. I also recently got back into shape after having kids & turning the big 3-0! and would love to rock some new fashions after working so hard! I would also LOVE to meet you and spend time with you! Even though I've been out of college for a few years now, I'm still struggling to find a balance between my HS/college clothes and my "new adult professional self." Although I would absolutely love to win, I know my little 17 year old sister Amanda deserves it much more. She is leaving home for her senior year of school to partake in acting school in Albany. Financially, it is very expensive for our family, so my sister is working two jobs this summer. She is concerned with not being able to afford much during the school year. If she wins, not only would it be a huge surprise because she has no idea I am entering her, but it will certainly make her much more confident for the school year ahead. Hello Whitney, my name is Kayleigh. I'm 17 years old and I live in Calgary, Canada. Ever since my mom told me about her trip to New York when she was a young girl, and going to the fashion institute there, I always found fashion so interesting. I'm constantly being inspired, although we don't have many of the designer or fancy stores here where I come from. Nor do we have major fashion magazines here. I loved watching you on The Hills as well as on The City! I really enjoyed seeing what you and Lauren were wearing and love both of y'alls styles! I go to The University of Texas and am studying public relations and would LOVE to someday work at People's Revolution or somewhere like DVF. But besides all that I LOVE clothes and love trying new styles. I would say my style is very close to yours because it is feminine and fun. But I sometimes like to get a little edgy and try new things. And of course on of my favorite pastimes is shopping!! While I love shopping, and love clothes, the college budget doesn't really allow for much of that. I can buy a cute dress every now and then, but my outfits just never seem complete because I can't buy the cute purse, shoes, or jewelry to go with it. My dad lost his job in March. We had to have this yard sale to sell everything so we could get by and then scrape off of the unemployment. But a couple of days ago, he got it back :) He wont be able to start until August though, plus we have to buy all new furniture, a new house, and on top of that we have to move. Ahh, I am so excited to enter. Here it goes:

I would be absolutely thrilled to win this shopping spree; it would mean a lot to me..
I know a lot of families have been going through economic crises and all, but I know that not all of them have had to shower with the lights out because of the electricity bill (though this was two years ago) and not being able to order things online due to their parent's expired credit card (current). My bank account is empty because of my dad's past gambling affair [although he has gone through counseling and no longer participates in that]. My grandma and dad's friend had to fork out money for my recent softball tournament in Florida.
But really, I'm not asking for your sympathy or looking for pity because I realize that some girls have never even seen a mall.
I'll say this flat-out: I'm cheap. I shop for the lowest prices available. And I feel guilty whenever I spend money-- let alone when my parents spend money on me. For my fifteenth birthday, my mom took me to the mall and offered to buy me several different things, and instead of being overjoyed and saying "yes, thanks!", as I would like to have done looking back on it now, I turned down all of her offers because I felt like she couldn't afford to spend money on my fashion needs.
Although you are a cast member of The Hills and indeed a fashion inspiration, you'e more importantly a good friend [so it seems] and great role model.
I see this as an incredible opportunity that would really help me for this coming school year. It won't solve all of my - or ANYONE's- problems, but it sure would serve as encouragement and help out with my situation. Bonus, my parents would be thirlled. Being plus sized does not make me an ugly person but does make it hard to find clothes that fit and are still fashionable. I still get butterflies on the first day of school like many kids, though mine are a little different! I am an elementary school teacher, so back to school shopping is always a priority at the end of summer. The thing is many of my students don't come to school with the new outfits, new shoes, or school supplies. I work in an inner-city school in Tampa. Hey Whitney. I think it's great what your doing, your fashion line is so cute! A reason I would like to win is because I am currently enjoying my summer home in Jersey, working hard to get some extra money to have at school. I go to school at Arizona state University. I like to shop at the end of the summer because that is when all summer clothes are on sale (and who doesn't love a great sale) and since it is like always hot in the AZ it is a great time to get what I need. I just graduated from High School this past June. I will start college in September. To tell you the truth, I'm terrified. I've never been the girl with an awesome fashion style, and that's because I have no money to buy myself some awesome clothes. When I do go to the mall, I always go directly to the clearance rack, or buy anything on sale. If I spend even 20 dollars on a shirt I feel really guilty. Growing up I was taught to love fashion and over the years I have taken everything I have learned to have a style that expresses who I am. One major reason that I would like to win is because the past 3 years have been really tough on me and my family. My dad was diagnosed with cancer right around the time I graduated from high school, so I decided to stay home and help take care of him instead of going away to college. At first I was juggling between school, work and taking care of him but ultimately I ended up having to quit my job because they didn't understand my situation. Money has been tight for my family since my dad has had to cut back on his work hours and my mom is trying to do all she can and I know asking for a new wardrobe this year would only make them feel worse because I know it would be pushing our budget. I am a year a way from graduated college and am already going to interviews for internships and I feel that this could definitely be want gives me that extra edge and confidence to succeed.

My summer in NYC is coming to a close and I can honestly say I am so inspired by all the fashion around the city. I've spent my entire summer interning at an advertising agency unpaid, so shopping has been a little difficult!

I am only going to be home in Virginia for a few days before heading back to school where I work two jobs. It'd be great to have a way to get a new back-to-school wardrobe, as well as a "back-to-work" wardrobe. After living in Alaska, Germany, and Nebraska, I have seen my fair share of fashion and no matter the type -- I love it.

My names Chloe I’m freshly sixteen and a So-Cal girl born and raised(: Palm Springs area to be exact. If people are familiar with the Palm Springs area the only thing they know is: The Heat (today’s temperature was 114 degrees:/ ) and the fact that Palm Springs was a hot spot for the L.A. posh and movie stars back in the 1930-50’s during the Golden Age of Hollywood. Both of these two well known facts have started to play their roles in my wardrobe now as I’m growing older and starting to conjure up my own sense of self (in life and in fashion).
Living in the desert I take advantage of my surroundings and how I can play them in with my fashion while keeping it lush&classy. Whenever I drive around in the desert I see all the old architecture and can picture all the lush parties that were thrown back in the day. The old desert scene reminds me that its important to comfortable while also being fresh and maintainable. Fashion and the clothes you chose to put on your back help you feel confident, which is the most important thing when starting a fresh year of school!
In my hometown of Palm Springs the weather plays the worst dictator to fashion (let’s just say I’ve never gotten to wear a Peacoat outside of my house). Although I think I have almost perfected my Classy-Desert look, I know an afternoon with Whitney would help me achieve the perfect levels. I want to major a lot of courses in college. First, Fashion. I am very much inspired by you and everyone else of The Hills and The City with your glamorous and classy outfits. I always take time surfing the internet and checking out your latests fashion wears. Since I don't always have a lot of money to spend for shopping, I try to look for cheaper alternatives. I believe that looking good and fabulous in an outfit doesn't always need to cost you a lot. It's how you carry yourself in an outfit (no matter how cheap or pricey it is) that's most important. Second, Culinary Arts. I've always had the love for food. Ever since I was kid, cooking is something I find very interesting. One of my greatest dreams is to be have my own restaurant at New York City and showcase everyone the delicious food that we have back in my home town. I am very proud of my being a Filipino and I want to show the world a part of who we are. Third, Journalism. I have passion in reading books and magazines. I also love to write blogs about my ambition, goals and achievements. I've always wanted to be an editor of a fashion magazine. Teen Vogue has always been my top pick. I hope I can fulfill all of my dreams. I hope I don't get laid off at my job because I need the money to get myself through college. I'll be the one supporting myself so wish me luck on that. I definitely want to win and have the opportunity to meet you so we can have a talk and hopefully you can share some advices to me as well. You should choose me to go on the JCP shopping spree with you because, like any girl, I could definitely use some help from you, a fashion queen! What sets me apart from the norm is that I try to dress to fit my personality; I wear what I think looks good and what's comfortable to me. The labels on my clothes may not necessarily compare to adds on TV or in popular magazines, but it's what I love! As for a set style, I've kind of managed to get lost somewhere in between sporty, slouchy, preppy, and sometimes sophisticated when needed. In other words, my wardrobe is a disaster! I recently joined a sorority at my college and I love it! With tradition and events, it's so important to look nice, yet it's so difficult to figure out what to wear! Nearly everyday I wake up and feel like I have absolutely nothing to wear- and it's not because I haven't done my laundry. I go to a small private college and I feel that I need to present myself well in, and even out, of the classroom because all the teachers do get to know the students on a personal level. It's so important to make a good first impression! I'm going to be focusing on classes more aimed toward my major this upcoming school year and it would be so important to be able to have a wardrobe that not only impresses, but also expresses who I am!

ALSO, I've been laying low on shopping this summers, more like I've vowed not to buy any article of clothing this whole summer. This is unheard of but I felt that I really needed self control. My promise with myself to not buy anything end on August 7th. (Virgina's Tax Holiday)

My twin sister and I have actually turned my bedroom into a closet. She attends Parson the New School of Design in NYC! Real quick: I am 37 and remaking myself over. ;) I went back to school recently (aft 19 yrs!) and received my high school diploma. I had a cap n gown graduation and everything! :) Then I decided since I could THAT, I could probably lose the weight I had put on. So far I've lost about 25lbs. ;) *yay*

I work 2 jobs. I cut fruit for Whole Foods Market 4 days a week, clean houses 1 day a week and I just started an internship to be a dental assistant and I do that 1 day a week. I actually shadow a dentist, in an office, for a year. I LOVE it. :)

I ALSO decided that I wanted to stop dying my hair black (I did for 5 yrs) and go blonde. It's been so FUN transforming! :) I feel like a butterfly!

Growing up I was a tomboy, that's what happens when you have a brother only three years older than you. As we got older and I grew out of my tomboy stage and we grew farther apart. My sister who is six years older than me became my fashion icon, but I was still the annoying little sister to her. As me and my sister grew up, sharing clothes brought us closer. This coming November she's moving to California, and along with her closet emptying so is part of me. My best friend is moving out. Hey Whitney! I'm almost 19 and I'm going off to college in about a month, the University of Georgia. I worked so hard to get into this school and I have most of my dorm decorations. We've been making items of clothing out of a variety of imaginative objects and fabrics/materials, I've been making a massive scrap book filled with chapters, showing how fashion has changed and developed over the last 50 years & the hundreds of different designers that have created these trends through their clothing design.. At the moment, this scrap book Is my most valued possession haha :) I've started designing a dress made out of artifical flowers.. First, I would like to thank you for this opportunity. It sounds really fun for whoever wins. Seeing how everyone is going through hard times right now, it's hard to buy all these clothes to be able to express yourself. I love your style and would love to go shopping with you. Growing up in Key Largo, an island off the Florida Keys, my wardrobe has always consisted of cut off shorts, bathing suits, summer dresses, and any color flip flop imaginable. Going into my second year of college, I’ve obtained a style much more different from that “free-spirited, island” girl I was a year ago. Hi, Whitney! I would just like to say that I would be so appreciative and happy to win the contest. My four best friends got to travel all over the world this summer, including places like the East Coast, camps and lakes, Florida, and even Germany. Unforunately, I haven't got to travel anywhere this summer. If I won the spree it would be the ultimate summer treat. Well, this year has definitely been a life altering year for me -- my boss has acknowledged all of my hard work, I recently became single again, and I just purchased my very first home. I'm currently in college studying web development and hoping I'll be able to switch over to the programming department of my job.

Now, fashion has never really been my thing and I've been a tomboy most of my life, but I feel that it's time for that to change. I could definitely use a new look to go with all of the exciting changes in my life.

I've been a fan of yours since The Hills and was excited to hear that you got your own show. Can't wait for season 2! :)

I think I should win this shopping spree. I went from a fashionista to literally a regular Joe (yes, Joe not Jane because all I wear is old T-shirts and jeans). I graduated from college last year - c/o 2008. I got a job offer in Austin, TX. So thinking with my new awesome job I will just add to my closet. Without regret, I donated 75% of my wardrobe to goodwill. Once I got to Austin, the job was a sham, so I drove 1500 back to California. And with the state of the economy, I could not, for the life of me, find a job. Without a job, and living out of my parents' attic, I haven't been able to afford even a cloth.

I really need to win this so I can re-vamp my look and charge on into the business world full speed. I need a boost both emotionally and physically and the best way is through fashion. Because through fashion, my confidence would rise. And in turn, I will stomp into that interview like a model (with a brain). Confident is a sure way to win me a job.

Although I'm not headed back to school this semester, it has been my dream to go back to school to finish up my degree for the past couple of years! I am a 22 year old mommy with the most beautiful daughter EVER; even though I love her more than anything on the planet, having a child does take a toll on my sense of style. I've always been a fashionable person, and I try my best to maintain that as best I can, but when the majority of our small family's funds go to just paying the day-to-day bills plus things for the baby (diapers are expensive!), fashion simply has to take a backseat. But I'm trying to get myself together, with a stalwart goal of re-enrolling in school for the spring semester, and resolving to find a part-time job in the meantime so that I can make my goal a reality. I am just going to lay it all out there. I had an amazing opportunity when I was 21 to live in NYC, and I am from a small town in Washington. I had the chance to live in the city for two years. I was able to work for a modeling agency and bartend as well on murray hill and a few other places. Unfortunate turn of events my father became very ill with cancer and I moved home to take care of him. I had every intention of moving back to New York when all was said and done but as you know things tend to change. I am now still living in Washington and my daddy has passed but I was blessed with a daughter so I guess it was all meant to be. I did forget to mention school and I appologize for that. I am starting over in school to work towards enrolling in the nursing program. I need to complete preliminary courses before I can enroll but once I've completed the nursing program at my local junior college I plan to transfer to either Cal State University of Bakersfield or to San Jose State. Both have great nursing programs to help me achieve my Bachelor of Science degree to become a Registered Nurse. It's a bit stressful with the budget crisis here in California though. I'm only able to take the psychology and philosophy course I need to complete this semester. All biology courses are currently filled with there being less classes and only two professors. My name is Jeffrey, and I am a big fan of the show and also aspire to be a stylist like yourself.

Let me tell you where I've come from, and why I think I deserve this:

I grew up in San Antonio, Texas. Didn't have much friends, maybe one. The rest just made fun of me for me sexual orientation. I felt alone, and iscolated. They would make fun of my clothes especially, because I didn't wear the expensive clothes that they did. I never had the money to dress the way I wanted. Then my mom married a man in the Army, so we quickly got stationed in Heidelberg, Germany. There, I made friends, and became one with myself, and finally felt like I fit in. I had 3 best friends, they loved the way I dress. I would shop at Vintage/thrift stores. Everything was going just great for those 2 years in Germany..

Now I'm back in the states, and am moving to Fort Lewis, WA. I'm going to have to go through the new kid thing all over again. After I established myself at my old school, had great friends, and felt great for my style. Finally, right?

So now I have to join a new school, and I heard that the area that I'm living in is not the most open-minded. I would really like to win this shopping spree and make myself feel good again, and help make the best impression amoung my new peers.

I hope this experience can also be a learning experience since I want to work in the fashion industry. I left my URL link in the tab above. I really need your help because I am a fashion disaster! I pretty much live in sweats and tees. I think that fashion represents who you are as a person, and I don't like what my fashion is telling others about me. Sometimes I find some really cute clothes, but I don't know how to pair them so it looks good on my body and it looks good overall. Right now, I'm in pj's and its 2:40 in the afternoon because I have nothing to wear! I love The Hills and I absolutely loved when you transfered over to The City! A $1000 shopping spree?! Wow, what an amazing chance to meet you and receive styling advice from such a stylish lady. ;) This opportunity would be more than a dream for me! I spent my college years working and interning nearly full time while enrolled at Parsons in New York. A wonderful fashion school of course, but with expenses building up, tuition to pay for, and the high cost of living, I had little to work with to develop a wardrobe.

Alas, I graduated last year with a degree in Design and Management and decided to return to my hometown of St.Louis to be close to family. Now Midwest + Fashion is not a common combo and opportunities here have been sparse, especially with the current economic condition. I was recently laid off from my job as a product development assistant and have been struggling to find anything related. I have had to turn to other opportunities that are not related to the apparel industry and find it difficult to make the change "fashion-wise" while staying true to myself.

With a shopping spree from JCPenney, I would love to be able to find new styles that work for my new career path while still being fashionable and professional. I have no income at the moment and having outfits even for interviews is rough to scrounge up due to the casual nature of my previous positions. To have the chance to revamp my wardrobe to a more professional, yet still fashionable look would be a dream for me and would help me so much while continuing the career search.

So up until the summer before entering high school, I didn't really care about how I looked or how I dressed. I just threw on clothes in the morning and headed off to school. Well middle school ended and summer began. Slowly over the summer I began to care about what I looked like and how I presented myself. It started with my complexion, and how my hair looked, and then progressed to the things I wear. Ever since then looks have always been a huge deal to me. Without a doubt I'm a bit of a shop-a-holic. Constantly I'm going to the mall and shopping for a new button down shirt at Hollister Co. or a new pair of jeans at Levis. Winning this contest would literally be a dream come true! Hello, first I want to start off by saying I love the Hills and the City. I just moved to Henderson, NV and everyone at my school didn't really got to know me, they just judged me on what I wore the first time I showed up (I was wearing really old clothes that I got from my sister because all of my clothes were still packed). They wear Gucci, Prada, coach, ect. and I don't have the money to buy that stuff. They call just "fine" clothes from American Eagle, Hollister, Areopostail, and Abercrombie. I would greatly appreciate if I would be given the opportunity to meet with you. I have watched your show and have gain admiration of your courage, since moving on behalf of your career is never easy, and I speak only from my own experience since I previously lived in Houston, Texas. Being away from home is definitely different and hard especially when you are a Cali girl; however, you moving to a different state shows how dedicated you are to your career, that ambition of yours is incredible. I just recently moved to New York (for good) for school from southern Ohio and I am totally broke. I work minimum wage at a movie theater which has made all of my clothes smell like butter and besides JCPenny, there are like no cool stores in my town.

I think I should win because, not only do I have my own style, but I take trends and turn them into something totally new. I'll wear old styles from different decades and spice it up with some cute 21st century accessories. It's hard growing up and going to school in The Bronx, NY because people DO make fun of you for not wearing what they wear and I felt that way. I felt that people made fun of me for not wearing skinny jeans or having designer everything. It was really hard. Our last year of high school requires so much dues for cap, gown, senior pictures, class ring and every senior wants a yearbook to remember their last high school memories.
