If you like kind of darker but thrilling stuff I just finished "The Historian" by Elizabeth Kostova, it's really great. I also just started Lauren's "L.A. Candy" last night :)

Nice! I just read "The Pact" by Jodi Picoult. AMAZING. Now I'm starting "The Time Traveler's Wife" before the movie comes out!! :)

I am just rereading the Time Travellers Wife in anticipation of the film. It's amazing!

The Last Lecture by Randy Pausch...not a new book but a very powerful view on a man's life lessons given at his final lecture leaving carnegie mellon, bc he is terminally ill

I just finished reading the girls from ames..great book on friendships through the years..wonderful story.

That book looks really good! I'm going to have to get that one...I have a wedding in 2 months! I just finished reading Love the One You're With by Emily Giffin...it was great!!

Definitely going to get the book!! I am reading the Sookie Stackhouse series by Charlaine Harris, which True Blood is based from. There are 8 total and I'm on the 4th one. If you like True Blood, you should definitely read them! There are differences from the show in the books, but they are just as good. Highly recommend!

I cna absolutely recommed The End Of Mr. Y by Scarlett Thomas. Not your typical book, but it's amazing! Check it out :-)

I absolutely loved the book "Petite Anglaise"....it's about an English lady who moves to Paris and starts a blog about her new life there...I love Paris and this book describes it perfectly...xo

I Was Told There'd Be Cake by Sloane Crosley!!! this is the best summer book ever. funny, witty, and easy to relate to! it's short stories all based around nyc :)the author is from nyc too. i would be reading this on the subway laughing out loud. hehe so embarrassing, but so worth it. check it out :) xo

I'll have to pick up the dumbbells book too. My trainer always has me doing weights, but I bet this book would be a cheaper training option :)

Hey, i'll definitley look into that book.

I just recently finished The Pillars of the Earth. It's defenitley not new and its not a short read but it is by far one of the books i have enjoyed the most. I recommend it!
