Whit, i love your show! I think what Jay did was sweet - - but that's just me! I'm a sucker for bad boys gone sweet. You're probably better off without him. We don't get to see everything on the show so i trust your judgement given that you know Jay best. Hats off to you for being so strong! Don't ever back down from Olivia!

I'm sorry I ever said even one word in defense of Olivia! The way she has behaved in the past few episodes has been absolutely reprehensible and cold. I don't care if it's been overly edited, there is no excuse. I haven't even had a chance to watch the final show completely yet, but if the rumors are true... I'm glad you stood up for yourself. :) DVF's advice was spot-on.

I was so sad when you and J brok up...what you said/did was EXTREMELY bold, I didn't see it coming, it made me tear up a bit, I was always hoping you guys would work out and end up together...but sometimes relationship don't work and aren't meant to be...but only time will tell. I just wanted to tell you that your strength amazes me. I was so sure that you would take Jay back in the finale. I'm not sure I would have been strong enough to do what you did, but I was very proud of you when you told him you needed time alone. Not sure if that leaves the door open for the future ('cause lets face it that boy is darn cute!) but you deserve to be treated better.

Also, I hope you know just how talented you are, woman! Stick with it, if you're happy at DVF. (DVF... don't you just pinch yourself sometimes when you think about where you work?!?) Olivia will be found out sooner or later for the fraud she is. And good for you for standing up to her! I'm sure your talent will take you far.

I am probably an odd ball in your fan base, but am happily married and loved your show.
I like you pursued a fashion career prior to settling down and having a family.
I encourage you to do the same while you are young, but don't close Jay out entirely. You never know what the future holds. Timing is everything, but if he really loves you, he will wait. Sounds like on TV this morning(Mike & juliet) , he is still trying to win you over.

Thank you for sharing your life with us this season. I loved watching you grow professionally and personally and I was really glad you stood up for yourself with both Olivia (man, she's painful to watch sometimes!) and Jay. The hardest thing is to walk away when someone we love is hurting us, but you were strong. I think Jay was too used to the drama in his relationship w/ "The D Word" and he took that out on you unfairly. I hope he's come around since then and is treating you as well as you should be. I'm stoked about Season 2 (at least I hope there's one) and I can't wait to see more of you and the gang!

It was so sad to watch the show and see how happy Jay was standing outside and couldn't wait to tell you that he loved you!! Then seeing you not giving him another chance was hard. The same thing happened to me and I gave my boyfriend another chance and he ended up being the one that i married!!

It's good to hear from you. I felt bad knowing that you had to relive that. I was proud that you stood up to him and gave him a taste of his own medicine. Now, it's your time. Take the time to really shine at DVF. Hopefully with Olivia in London, you can do that without her around. You need to show them how good you really are. Diane seems to like you. Now Jay can concentrate on his music. Eventually it will all come together and you will find your way back together again.

Loving Tamarama's music, I saw the morning show. Jay told the nation that he is working on getting you back. He didn't seem too open to the fact that Juliet said that there are plenty of others out there. I gave Jay advice on myspace and he told me that he loves you very dearly. He is working on winning you back. Be open to it and make him really prove it, because you said that you loved him too.

FIRST off I would like to say that I have truely enjoyed watching the first season of The City! You are my favorite, my role model, my inspiration, and have been since the Hills; so thank you for that!

SECONDLY I can not get over the whole Olivia and the mag. cover issue and my question is, and remains: what did your bosses think after watching the episode? Is the truth now revealed at work? You have done an amazing job and truely are blessed and belong in the fashion industry.

Hi whitney. I admire your strength. I'm sure it wasn't easy to cope with the breakup but at least you came to the realization that your career comes first. Guys come and go. A relationship shouldn't take so much energy to make it work. I'm glad that you confronted Olivia. I never really liked her character to begin with. She just struck a nerve. Hopefully those who work with you watch the show and see what Olivia is all about, but at the same time maybe some may believe that they would have to act that way to get to where they want to be. You definitely took the high road! Kharma is a B**!! and Olivia will certainly have some repercussions if she continues to be the way she is. Whitney... I am so proud of you for breaking up with Jay and not letting him play mind games with you. So many women let a man break up with them and then take him back whenever he feels like it. LC is great but we never got to see the men in your life or meet your family and friends outside of Audrina etc. I think it is so great you have pursued your dream job, you are effortlessly graceful and handle everything with such eloquence. Above everything, you are an incredible role model to every young girl who watches the show. I just finished watching the entire series and the season finale today on MTV. I admire you so much for your confidence and standing up yourself in myriad ways.
