It is so good to see Jay and You out and about after what is going to happen this coming up week on "The City". However, it just looks like working out those bugs early on in your relationship. No one's perfect and people get scared when you first start to get close. Well, it looks like you are working thru them.

Hey, I also just watched the video of you guys at My House out in the street. How crazy were those paparazzi? Jay did the smart thing and hung back out of some of it. I guess that's what you have to go thru if you want to be a star on TV.

What you talked about with your girlfriends in NYC last episode sounds just like the normal longer relationship issues - I'm glad you are happy with Jay still. Funny thing, my friends and family tell me that I remind them of someone on TV...you! We don't look alike at all, I think its just our mannerisms and the way we talk- strange, huh?! :)
Anyway, after seeing tonight's episode I was worried that things could be over between you and Jay... I was relieved to see the picture of you looking so happy with him for your bday. I don't know if it means you are still together, but judging from his tears when saying goodbye (and scenes from next week) it looks like he truly loves you. Happy Birthday Whitney!!! I enjoy your show The City. I know that you are extremely intelligent, and I do not know how much of the show is scripted or real, but as it shows on TV, Jay is using you. He gets angry at you because he is doing wrong. He is trying to turn it around to make you feel the guilty one.

Love is a wonderful thing and also a thing that could cloud your intution and judgments. Please love life everyday and have fun, but keep your heart alittle left of center just in case you run into a wall!!!

Whitney, I'm a big fan of you since The Hills.

I just wanted to let you know how awesome you are. I LOVE your style. You were my favorite one on The Hills and when I found out that you started your own show "The City" I was so looking forward for it. Thanks to Tivo I won't miss any episode of it. I think you were the one with the lease drama on both of your shows but yet still have an interesting life.

I usually don't go to other people business. But after I watched the recent episode... I feel like I need to tell you how nice you are. But, I think sometimes you're too nice so people surround you like to take advantage of it. Example, Jay and Olivia.

I think Jay was too scared to talk to you and he KNOWS exactly that it was his mistake (For sure!) not to tell you about the upcoming tour that he has planned. Since he's so selfish... he tried to put it on you!

And... What is up with Olivia?? What a copy cat and a thief. Always steal someone's credit, is that what she does at work?
'Whit... I love it that you're nice BUT please stand up for yourself. Do not ever let her try to steal your credit again. I thought it was kind of funny when I saw her wearing the jacket that YOU chose for the Elle cover.

Happy 24th! I'm glad you had a super fun night out and low-key birthdays with your close ones are often the best ones.

I also wanted to say that you should definitely ignore the comments/judgements people make on your life/relationship on here. In all honesty, the only thing we really know about your life and your relationship is what we see on screen and it's likely not the whole story.

That said - you seem like a really sweet girl with a smart head on her shoulders...and you deserve all the best that New York has to give you. Keep up the hard work at dvf - you're certainly going places.

Here's a piece of advice I read (it was actually to a sweet 18 yr old girl trying to figure out what profession to go into, as she wanted to lead a comfortable life which included buying designer purses). It's not necessarily perfect advice for relationships, but has some good life tips which I think everyone should read!:

Myself, I was born, and married into priorities and common sense.

I never considered designer things in college. Only once I was out of school, working ridiculously hard, having saved, taken care of myself and my future path, did I ever wander into designer departments. At all! And even then, I was closer to thirty. Oh, I dressed well (I went to art school too) and took care of myself, but I barely considered Coach, much less Hermes. But you know what I did do?

I traveled. I took my discretionary money, and I did and saw great things. I explored! Now, a bit older, settled into a life, family, and career, it isn't so easy to see the world now but I feel like I already did, and I discovered myself along the way.

Before you find Hermes, Chanel, and the rest, find yourself. And don't stop looking until you and your soul are dear old friends. Then, find a career. And a guy. A home. A family.

Somewhere along the way. Hermes or Chanel... or Jimmy Choo, whatever... will find YOU. At 18, you're in no rush. Take life for what it's worth! And what it's worth to you is priceless.

Curiosity is good - use it to discover new countries, religions, art and beauty. Trust me, you'll see yourself, and what you want to do... along the way.

Keep your chin up through all the hardships life will hand you...sometimes I think it must be 100 times harder for you knowing that millions of ppl out there hear about things and want to know every single detail. But keep on handling things with poise and grace - I think you're doing really well in life, little lady!
