Hi everyone! Well I don't know about you guys, but I am absolutely thrilled that it's finally Friday, not to mention that tomorrow is Valentine's Day -- my first in New York City!!
In light of the holiday, Celebuzz asked me a few V-Day themed questions and I thought you guys might be interested to hear my responses. Enjoy!
What's the story behind your first kiss?
My first kiss was with my first boyfriend, Sean. We were in the back of a limo on our way to our tenth grade semi-formal -- yeah, I know, I was a pretty late bloomer... Hehe!
We had been dating for a while and I was sooooo scared of kissing for some reason -- I just didn't get the dynamic of it. Anyway, we were sitting next to this other couple kissing so I just figured hey, why not!
It's just so funny that we decided to have our first kiss in a car full of all our friends!
What was your best Valentine's Day?
My first date with my last boyfriend, my first love, just so happened to be on Valentine's Day. It was a great start to an amazing relationship!
He found out my favorite candy (chocolate covered gummy bears), took me to an amazing steakhouse (my favorite food), and bought me the Beatles Anthology album (my favorite band)! It was perfect!
Who is your celebrity crush?
DEFINITELY Ryan Gosling! The Notebook pretty much did it for me!

Whitney, I must say that I absolutely love your flower head band. I wear a flower in my hair everyday (a plumeria flower to be exact) and its become my trademark. I'm guessing the head band is a diane von furstenburg creation? If not could you please post where I cold get one! Hope fashion week isnt too busy for ya! xo jess

I was a late bloomer too Whitney, so no worries. My first kiss was my sophomore year of high school, and it was at our tolo dance. SO ackward! My best Valentine's Day was my first one with my boyfriend (2 yrs ago). I went to school (college) during the day, and he came to my house and cleaned the entire place. Then he put candles up the stairs, and roses, candles, chocolate and balloons all over my room (and bed). It was so sweet.
My celebrity crushes are Morris Chestnut, Q from Making the Band (random, I know! lol), and Idris Elba.
