After watching the Whitney Looks Back: From The Hills to The City special this week, I couldn't believe my journey on The Hills. It seemed like all work and no play, but it has shaped the way my career has developed and I have no regrets whatsoever! It's pretty fun to look back and have all those experiences forever and ever on tape. Thank you for sharing these past few years with me. I hope you found it fun enough to continue watching The Hills, and to get excited for The City.
I thought it might be fun to share one of my favorite Hills memories with you -- I found this clip from Wednesday night's special. Enjoy...and feel free to have a little laugh at my expense...I think you know what it's going to be!
At the time I thought this was just the most embarrassing moment of my life -- come to think of it, it still is! But it made me learn to laugh at myself and realize that picking yourself up, both figuratively and literally, is just a part of life.
My fall is obviously old news, so here's a more recent incident that reinforces the fact that I'm the clumsiest person ever!!!
The other night I was walking through a huge crowd at a restaurant in the meat packing district and for some reason I was whispering to myself, "Don't fall, don't fall." It's like I could feel it coming or something... and what do you know, within one step of being back at my table, I fell flat on my ass! The worst part is that the only people who saw it were my boyfriend and his best friend....the worst people I could think of to see it happen!

I understand why it's your most embarrassing moment, but we all have our embarrassing moments! We all fall on our ass sometime, and sometimes we even do more embarrassing things than that!
But it's not all the time everyone can see it on the TV. Hehe.
But you're so cute so I think that everyone forgot it very fast! :)

You tell me one day into a very elegant restaurant in front of me fall all over the world! It was horrible, that the world wanted to be open and I eat me. But I had to continue as if nothing had happened.
I take this opportunity to congratulate you and tell you I love your collection, and tell you that I am a big fan of yours, I am of Colombia the hills here and many people see it, and we do not see that when the city begins to watch, congratulations and happy Christmas!

I remember when I watched the episode, I felt so bad for you, although you looked fabulous. But you know what, it could of happen to anyone, but I must say you did handle it like a real professional. Also being able to laugh about it and put it behind you shows your maturity. Hey that's life or "C'est la vie" (excuse my French) :)
Needless to say I loved you on the "Hills" and I can't wait to see "The City". I have a feeling you do great there and look chic doing it :)! Speaking of which, I LOVED the black dress you were wearing for the DVF interview. I've been trying to search for it, can you PLEASE share the designer or where to find it. I have to have it! I love your flower shoes too, are they Christian Louboutin's?

Hi Whitney! Big big fan of yours!!! Cant wait for your show! I've only just now really gotten into the hills, I was always being told "Your to young" lol. But I love it!! And love you! I think your so sweet and nice! And sooo pretty! Anyway. I wanted to tell about my most embarrassing moment. I was about maybe 11 or 12? And I was going to see a movie with my sister and bother And his girlfriend, And I was so happy and having such a good day! And just about the end of the movie I got my "You know what"!! I was soooo upset!!!! And then I went to my Mom And sisters shop And went in the bathroom and cried my eyes out!! Only to find out that they all could here me I was crying so loud!!!
So thats my most embarrassing moment.

Hmmm... my most embarrassing moment? Like every day of my life maybe? :P No, but it feels like I do at least one embarrassing thing every day, so yours wasn´t such a big deal ;) But of course to you it was, I understand that.
But everything wrong we do and for every mistake we make, we learn something and we grow as a person and learn how to handle embarrassing situations. It´s just a part of life. So thank you for sharing yor embarrassing moments with us, it is encourageing and inspiring to see that even perfect people can have a bad day :)
